KERRY: A Killarney engineering firm is set to create up to 50 jobs following the invention of a machine for making wood pellets. Kerry Biomass has launched the machine to around 50 international customers. Existing pelleting machines have generally been adapted from technology used in the production of animal feed, but were not specifically designed for pelleting wood. Kerry Biomass is a subsidiary of Kerry Die Products, which has been in operation for over 30 years.
